    • Worked as a Freelance Online Editor for the Hearst Magazines online sites. Inputting and updating articles and images within the CMS, writing copy, heds and deks as needed.     FREELANCE WRITER/EDITOR - January 2007 to February 2007

    • I completed a freelance writing assignment for the website UGO Networks Bands on Demand section. Created XML files and researched discography for 20 heavy metal artists. I also researched band and album photos to be included within XML files. The link is: UGO.com

    AOL - June 2006 to December 2006

    • Worked as a Freelance Programming Manager at AOL on the Digital Lifestyle Channel. The link is: AOL Digital Lifestyle now Engadget.com. Worked as the primary programming and editoria lead for the channel. Duties included overall programming and editorial decision making, submitting photo requests, writing copy for specific modules within the pages, creating new modules and linking content to fill the page. Instrumental in cross channel promotion and brainstorming on ideas to bring traffic to the site. Overall selection of editorial content to appear on the Digital Lifestyle site. Ensured quality of all pages and overall site. Building site modules and new article pages. Created polls for the site. Attended daily Digital Lifestyle meetings on the progress of the channel. Maintained relationships with clients such as Consumer Reports and Consumer Electronics Association for their Buying Guide Pages. Creating RSS feed modules. Responsible for weekly rotation and selection of articles and photos once the site is launched. Submitted requests upload spreadsheets for Advertisements placed on the site. Worked with the Big Bowl Articles Tool, Poll Tool, Art Tool, Ad Tools, Media Library and Publisher Tool. Uploading video and audio files to the site. Worked with freelance writer, developers and other third party contractors. Attended Weekly SEO meetings. Tracking and reviewing traffic reports for the site using Media Metrix and Omniture.     MTV NETWORKS - March 2002 to May 2006

    • Worked with VP of Development, MTV Films. Read scripts, gave creative feedback, read books, responded to pitches and unsolicited scripts submissions, logged in script submissions and many other duties assigned. Had extensive contact with agents, producers, production companies and writers.
